GENESIS REVISITED

At the start of time, Pandora wandered the heavens looking for a home. In a dream she heard a call that beckoned her. It was the ancient one, Cthulhu, who had found a spot and gathered Nature all around, patting it into an orderly shape, our Earth. All the chaos, Cthulhu packed into a stone box which she closed and hid inside her cave inside the Earth. Lucifer, flying past, saw Pandora now on Earth and decided to take charge. He brought the sun each morning to warm the Earth for her. After a while noticed that Pandora longed for human company. He decided to bring her a mate and introduced Pan to give balance of man and woman to Earth. Cthulhu, delighted by Pan's music, gave Pandora the stone box as a dowry and blessed their partnership. For a long time Pan and Pandora played happily on the Earth together and had children that grew to have different characteristics, each with their own influence over the generations that followed. Pandora's box was passed down from generation to generation. Humans began to dominate the Earth, eventually surpressing Nature's chaos principle to such an extent that the Earth began to die. It was at this time that the box had come into the hands of Pan's favourite descendent, Satan. Satan looked at the dying Earth and looked at the box and decided to take action. He thought of what he was told, to only open the box in dire need. It was time. With great effort he prised the lid open and suddenly all the chaos inside it broke loose and flooded the world with the creative spirit of Nature once again.
