Hannah, DNA and Bob. Bob, DNA and Hannah

 
Hannah and Bob were working in the "Moor Room" so called because it looked out on the Yorkshire Moors at the forensic unit in which they worked.
A young man entered.“Madam I’m Adam” he smiled, shaking Hannah’s hand.  Bob stood at the workbench nearby.
  “I’ve been sent to help you two out investigating the burglary yesterday”
  “The burglars left fingerprints all over the place” Bob explained, “Evidently they weren’t too bright.  We’re examining the foodstuffs they left strewn around and which we’ve brought here.
  They worked methodically for an hour.  Hannah started feeling bored and Adam swore quietly under his breath until Hannah told him that this was “Not on”.
“Swap you a nut for a jar of tuna” she said to Bob.
  “A nut for a jar of tuna?” he frowned.  They swapped.
  Bob left the room.  When he returned Hannah was telling Adam about the lack of funding.
  “Do the Criminal Department just not value you?” Adam asked.
  “No it is opposition” interrupted Bob, “They just don’t value what we do here.  They’re opposed to the idea of funding us.”
  “I really don’t understand these burglars” Anna said.  “Borrow or rob?” She paused.  “Which is more sensible?  They’re plainly amateurs.”
  There was the sound of a door opening.  It was Edna and Elle, back from their hike.
  “Too far Edna we wander afoot” puffed Elle.  “Huh?” grunted Edna in response.
  “We’re examining foodstuffs for fingerprints” explained Hannah.  “There was a break in last night at the local convenience store.  We’re not getting very far though.
  “We’ll break now” Bob announced.  “Let’s take the cars into town and go to that new café that’s opened.  I like the staff there.  They’re not introverted like they are here”.
  “What’s wrong with being an introvert?” asked Hannah indignantly.
  “Oh nothing” said Bob quickly.  It’s just that they’re…”
  “What?”
  “…never odd or even…”
  “Even what?  Are you saying people who work here are odd?”
  “Forget it.  You go in the car with Adam.  I’ll take Elle”.
  “And Edna?”
  “Oh yes.  Of course”.
  “Pull up if I pull up” said Anna.  “I’m not sure exactly where it is.”
  “When will we be back?” Elle enquired.
  “Noon” Bob decided.  “We’ll see you later.”
