 Nine children awake to tear stained pillows, dried sorrow from last night's tearfalls. Wives, and the dusky dawn, reach across the void of  empty heartbreak, grasping for a lover that is no more. They're in the inbetween, now and the before. Those fleeting moments before the Heartbreak, the before of that realization: GONE
And then now comes crashing in, a tsunami of pain, a plethora of why. And they weep. The lost loves shirts still smell of them, and their toothbrush is still in the holder. The dogs look for master and find absence. The house Echoes of Heartache, the cold tears of children who just want Daddy. The walls weep, much like the brides who deal with a new term, title: Widow. The pain, thick like spider webs made of rope, cut like razor wire. To each other, they hold fast. They cling to memories and the anguish that brings. Night falls and it's off to bed, for the children to cry until exhaustion takes their bodies. The wives settle into frigid bedsheets, into emptiness, loneliness. And then there's us, the fans. Our Heroes. Our heroes are gone. Many times, they got the needle out of our arms the gun to our head out of our hands. Because of them, we put the pills down. Their music saved us, carried us, made the worst better even if only for a second. Your songs carried us through the most heart-wrenching situations and stood by as we celebrated overcoming destruction. Now, we have your final words, your songs, never to hear anything new again. We weep. We're broken, angry, confused, heartbroken, sad, hurt, betrayed. Y'all left us behind , millions of whom loved you. The ones you never met, faces in a crowd. You left behind sorrow. Damn your demons. Damn your pain, your guilt, your helplessness. Damn whatever took you away. But now, now y'all rest, you found solace. No more hurt, no more, no more. Rock in Peace, Loves.
