I do not help my wife

   A friend came home to have a coffee, we sat down and started taking about life. In one moment of the conversation, I said; "I'm going to WASH THE DISHES and I'll be right back."
He looked at me as if I had told him I was going to build a spaceship. Then he said to me with admiration, although a little puzzled.; "Well that you help your WOMAN, I do not help mine, because she does not recognize my effort. Last week, I cleaned the floor and SHE DID NOT THANK ME."
I went back to sit next to him and explained that
"I DO NOT "HELP" my wife.
IN REALITY, MY WOMAN DOES NOT NEED HELP..., she need a PARTNER.
I do not help my wife to clean the house, I CLEAN BECAUSE I ALSO LIVE HERE.
I do not help my wife to cook... because I ALSO WANT TO EAT AND THAT"S WHY I COOK>
I do not help my wife to wash dishes after eating... BECAUSE I ALSO USE THOSE DISHES.
I do not help my wife with hers kids...Because THEY ARE ALSO MY CHILDREN, AND IT IS MY DUTY AS A FATHER.
I do not help my wife to wash, hang  or fold clothes, because THOSE CLOTHES ARE ALSO MINE AND MY CHILDREN'S.
I PUT THE WASHING MACHINE BECAUSE THERE IS MY DIRTY CLOTHES AND MY CHILDREN'S CLOTHES.
I'm not a HELP AT HOME.
I'm part of the house.
Have you ever thought about it, my friend?

   Because if you ever clean the floor you want to be awarded a prize for excellence in style?
WHY?
I asked my friend when it was the last time had THANKED his WIFE for CLEANING THE HOUSE,WASHING CLOTHES, BATHED CHILDREN, COOKED, organized things, etc.
Maybe you thought that all this is not a job, but hers. Maybe you have been taught that all this has to be done WITHOUT YOU TO MOVE A FINGER.
Give a hand, be have like an AUTHENTIC partner, not as a guest.....
Who only comes home to eat, sleep, shower and satisfy her needs...
The real CHANGE starts in our house. 
We must teach our sons and daughters 
THE TRUE SENSE OF THE COMPANION.
