I will stand by you

I'll stand by you HE said, but I wasn't really sure because I have waited so long . I had no reason to wakeup for tomorrow. I waited longer than I can ever imagine. Hoping for just one moment in time to see life from a different angle .  Born a street solider and grownup street wise. Tears was my best buddy  , hunger my play mate . The best movies where street fights . Hope was all I could turn to . Lost interest in so many things . Life became an enemy and the devil took my soul , although I bought it back , but he kept seeking for it with luxuries of this world . I was tempted, but he wouldn't let go because he saw the greatness in me . Sometimes I wish I could just close my eyes and live another life . That was just a dream, I had to face the reality , I've only got one life and I had to make the best of it . I seek help from the one who owns heaven and earth and what He said surprised me . He told me He had never left me , He was always by my side . He was that tinny voice working deep inside of me . I will stand by you I promised. He gave me a new life with the same body , but with a different mind set . He is leading me now to the promise land , where I don't know , but I see the signs and they seems fantastic . 

I use to be alone , but not anymore. I 'll stand by you and yes He is . 

The only person standing between you and your destiny is YOU.
