In the picture above, you may notice the difference between the trees.
Now, some people may just see these objects as two, simple old trees. I mean, they are just trees right? Wrong.
As winter comes into turn, the tree on the left is left with no leaves. Its as if the winter takes everything that gave the tree life, minus the roots in which the tree has grown, all by itself. Winter has no mercy.
Now compare this to a toxic relationship, and youll get the same outcome. A toxic person will take the beautiful and positive in you, and everything you see in the world will be cold, bare minimum, as if life has been sucked away itself. They have no mercy.
Any time you find yourself questioning why youre still in a relationship, i want you to think of these trees. One green, healthy and full of leaves. The other stripped bare, dark, and empty.
You dont have to be that tree. You can stay full of your leaves and still keep your routes when the winter comes, you just have to remember your routs, the why youre here. Dont let a toxic relationship strip you of your leaves. YOU have mercy.
