Just On My Mind

Hi everyone, It’s Crybaby here. I know I usually post poems, but today I wanted to share something that’s been on my mind for awhile. I’m still young, still learning the ropes, but this one topic seemed to be the string I was determined to follow. There are days when I love my appearance and my body, there are days when I hate them, but either way, society seems to have its heart set on disagreeing with me. If I hate my body or say something like, “I’m fat” or “I hate my skin”, people will always say that I’m beautiful and that I should believe that, however, If I compliment myself in any way, or simply admire myself in a mirror, then I will get comments like these, “Oh my gosh, you’re so vain” or “Get over yourself”. Honestly, I’d just like to say, f**k society, do I care about their opinion, no, and neither should anyone else. If you think you look hot, just say it, If you hate yourself, then listen to yourself if you truly believe that you’re ugly, take a look in the mirror and see what the rest of the world sees, an amazing, confident, beautiful person, who belongs and is GORGEOUS!
