Lion under umbrella

It was a scorching summer day. Shyam, as usual, took his sheep into  jungle for grazing. As there was shortage of green-grass, he led the sheep deep into the forest. His father had warned him not to take sheep into deep forest as he feared that wild animals would kill them. Shyam was, however, happy that nothing as anticipated did not happen. It was noon and having got tired, he took a nap under an umbrella that he had taken with him. 

From behind a rock, Gabbarsher, the dreaded lion of the forest, saw the sheep grazing and Shyam resting under the umbrella. Though Gabbarsher had not eaten for the last three days, he simply avoided the sheep, but frightened Shyam, with a relatively weak roar, unusual to lions, because that was all what he could do at that time.

Shyam was very frightened and ran away, leaving the umbrella. Gabbarsher took the umbrella and went away.

Shyam, shaken with fear, was on his way back to home with the sheep when he saw Gabbarsher sitting under the umbrella, folding his hands, smiling at Shyam as if thanking him for the umbrella.
