LOVE AND HEALING

A few years ago my mother had a stroke, she fell and broke her arm.

When they removed the plaster from her arm it was still swollen and bruised.

The nurses where she was being rehabilitated were concerned about it.

My daughter and I were visiting mum that day and we asked her if she would like us to pray  together  for healing and she said yes.

So we sat together and my daughter and I layed hands on her and we all prayed, the answer came almost immediately, the bruising went the swelling went down and her arm was restored!!!!

Next day when the nurses saw her arm they were amazed,they said to me have you seen mums arm? I said to them you should have seen what we saw yesterday it was healed right before our very eyes!!!

Sadly  Mum died a few months later but we were left impacted with the sign and wonder,I know I will never forget it!!!

Another day during her time in the hospital she said to me “Lyn we have the wrong garments on” I pondered this for a long time but came to realise that what she had said was right, we were dressed in religion!!!

Do we want to see healings, signs and wonders and the Body of Christ moving in power???

We need to unite in love and pray, I believe the reason we saw the healing was because we united as a family in the bond of  love and prayed and we saw the miracle!!!

It is not enough to see and know all the things that are wrong on this earth and want Father to fix it unless we are prepared to fall on our faces in total unity in a love relationship with him and each other.

The bible says if we say we love God and don’t love each other we are liars, so why would He listen…

Jesus said the greatest commandment was to love God and to love our neighbour as ourselves.

The bible also says without love with are just like a resounding gong.

Are we loving each other?

Or are we still competing and trying to be in control like in those religious places?

Love in God is not just a “warm fuzzy” thing it is the most powerful weapon we have.

If it wasn’t why would Father God himself have used it to defeat the enemy

 “Pursue Love - it NEVER Fails!!!!
