Marked by size

Today i went shopping
I was looking for a plain one piece swimsuit
Looking around nervously as if someone was judging me
I grabbed a black one and went to go change

Excitedly i admired from every angle
Thinking maybe this is the one
But i was told it was a little small
To go a size up
Only there was one problem
There was no size up

I was once again reminded that i was not perfect
That i did not fit
I walked out of those shops depressed
And angry that society has marked you by your size
And Not by what really counts
Your personality
Who you really are
