mine deerest doe, forgive my ere I plead

....and as i lay my trembling hand on the side of her neck, her head leaned in, weighting in my palm, and there, in the bloody slush, on the edge of this winding slice of concrete intrusion cutting through her forest, we rocked together and shared the rain, her eyes held shut and so i followed in kind and joined her for this moment in darkness. We searched for a rising sun cast across the greens of spring, and loe,, there it was, and there we were, side by side, in golden warm of starshine waves we waited. i felt the eyes of her companion watching from beyond the shadowed treeline and his heart, breaking, as she slipped toward release, her breath, calm and quiet as they said their goodbyes... i am soo very very sorry.
