poem,What is Depression?????

Depression is it to me,what it is to you? Maniac,clinical,psycho therapy,personality disorders,s.a.d,even post natal depression. Each and every one so serious and sad and fatal in their own right. One day I looked inthe mirror And what did I see a thin white face looking back at me. Suicidal thoughts running through my mind As I did not know what was wrong with me. After all I had every materialist thing I needed including the job and the car It was all an act. Doctors thought I was a hypochondriac. YEARS later after losing the job,the car,friends and family Even the fancy clothes.Did I care NO. I WAS eventually diagnosed with Bi-polar. Every little thing started to fall in to place. No long term relationships,Being all over the place,memory failing. Was my diagnosis a relief? YES-many medications later,trial and error,trial and error. FINALLY I CAN LOOK IN THAT MIRROR I realize depression is not an easy option. IT IS A GENUINE ILLNESS.
