It takes but a second for a heart to stop
A mere moment for the beating to go quiet
All breath forever released to something eternal
A soul moves on to the inevitable in an instant
(The poem is on afterlife of the souls. Indeed No love is perfect or ideal, it has its highs and its lows — and some of them are very high, and very low — but the lows are not a sign of weakness or that you shouldn't be together. Rather, they're something that brings you closer to each other. The theme selected for the poem is excellent, my applause)
This being now nothing but an onlooker from afar
This realm is for the deceased, the departed souls
No corporeality left to cling to the living
This spirit invisible, alone, silent…
(Offering someone a part of your soul is better than giving a piece of your heart, because souls are eternal and glorified at a later stage)
The living mourn with tears and longing
They go about re-taking their lives as before
Though thoughts are spared for loved ones that passed
Their hearts may in life not indulge them again
(To some, soul mates reflect your own true natures. To others, they are simply those who deserve the very best from us. Soul mates can be romantic partners, best friends, or even just wonderful people who pass through one’s life and make a genuine difference)
I stand before you, my heart beat still
You look through me, my face to you invisible
My skin radiates no warmth, I cannot comfort you
Though I have moved on, I am still here with you.
( You arrive at a point in your life time, when you are so busy you feel like you don't ever see each other, much less get alone time together when you're doing something other than sleeping)

No love is just right. It has its advantages and its disadvantages — and some of them are very high, and very low — but the lows are not a sign of weakness or that you shouldn't be together. Sometimes you just need to hold your partner's hand or give them a hug, and not ask questions or give them any advice. Just knowing that you're there is more comforting than words.
Our cosmos grants every soul a twin-a reflection of themselves -the relatives spirit – And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love. A link between souls is ancient – older than the planet.
Dear honorable Poetess Chantal Emmenis, many thanks for sharing such a wonderful verse to us, keep writing more and more, may God bless, Regards & Love
