Brutally betrayed
Battling emotional waves
Tarnished lust without a lyre
Stirring tempest storm fire
I am unrequited Love
(Unreciprocated love or one-sided love is love that is not honestly reciprocated or understood as such by the beloved. The beloved may not be aware of the admirer's deep and strong romantic affection or consciously reject it. Here honorable Poetess Cherie Sumner is depicting her pure love to poetry as well as to his beloved in a highly matured level, my applause )
Denied healing, open wounds
No wedding, no groom
Stripped naked, fully exposed
Rejected, imposed
I am unrequited Love
(An  Unrequited Love is the feeling of being completely, hopelessly, desperately in love with someone, all the while knowing that your feelings will be fulfilled for ever )
Lovelorn, love lost
Unreciprocated, love tossed
Broken dreams, heart bereft
Deprivation’s all that’s left
I am unrequited Love
(Love is all about evolution. What looks like a mistake to others has been a milestone in others life. Even if people have betrayed, even if a heart was broken, even if people misunderstood or judged wrongly, love has learned from these incidents. We are human and we make mistakes, but learning from them is what makes the difference)
Torment, temptation
Cancelled reconciliation
Slim pickings, the plot thickens
True love is grief stricken
I am unrequited LoveAnd I have had enough……
(True love is everlasting, endless, and always like itself. It is equal and pure, without violent demonstrations: it is seen with white hairs and is always young in the heart)

The love that you receive is equal to the love you give... And for those rare souls who give with no thought of receipt... only they are worthy of the eternal love; the force that breaks bonds of brotherhood, that transcends the vagaries of pride and ego, a binding of souls that endures across the Ages
Have you ever loved someone so intensely, so entirely, that it's painful to be apart from him or her? I'm not talking about being in a long-distance relationship or even a particularly painful case of unrequited love. I'm talking about being in a completely different world from the other person, a world where you can see them and hear them, but you cannot touch them and they can't see or hear you. Love as such is a ocean like concept, the word love is often miss used and being abused worldwide, but in your case, you have made and proved it worthwhile and lifelong, Congrats dear Poetess Cherie Sumner for sharing such a fabulous poem to us, my applauds, my love
Regards
