Fragments of moment
paddling swift and frenzy
through layers of present.
Filaments of passing time
wafting in evanescence
to get folded in the memory.
(Our inability to face the uncertainty of the future is for the present moment in life. Our curiosity on life time and optimism on future will never tally at times.)
Oh fragile life!
You are the remnants
etched in the illusion
squeezing frail reality
from misty ruckus
in mysterious shade.
(We all possess an easily breakable grip on reality of this earthly life and scattered or dissatisfied love, the word “fragile life “ is well depicted as Poetess convey the message of temporary life here as a broken or damaged life-time)
Beneath azure sky
on the bank of transience
rest, numerous existence
embedded with myriad dreams
and shed desperate selves
as fireflies hugging flames.
(It is only our faith that problems can be solved, differences resolute or resolved. It is a type of confidence. And it is fragile. It can be blackened by panic and false notion. The symbolic life span of fireflies has been well narrated within this stanza, congrats to honorable Poetess Maaya Dev)

Science has much to contribute to our understanding of human genesis. Indeed, it is the science which has enabled us to explore the fascinating findings related to the residue and inherited records of our ancient ancestors.
Typically, the scientific answer to the question, ‘Where did human beings come from?’ is often met with explanations about evolution and natural selection. We are told that humans share a common ancestral heritage with apes and emerged from a primate past through a process of random genetic variations.
Human life is fragile and we are not at all guaranteed for a tomorrow, hence the firefly’s life time is being connected to that of the human. Just as treasures to live and let other to live are uncovered from the earth, so good value appears from good deeds, and wisdom appears from a pure and peaceful mind. To walk safely through the mess of human life, one needs the light of wisdom and the guidance of high caliber.
Honorable Poetess Maaya Dev, please accept my congratulations for sharing the above short poem for us, Good luck, may God bless your golden pen

Hi Poetess of Love: Cherie Sumner,
Many thanks and much love on your best support on Maaya's above poem, I just happened to go through her poems, she is amazing and the metaphors used in her all poems are immensely appealing and alluring, I love her verses, hence I post my appreciation review via my column POET'S PEN, She too is highly spiritual and real, hence I started an inspiration poetry column named as MISTY MOODS exclusively for her poems, like the one I have for yours with a title CHERRY BLOSSOMS.
Poetry is the expression of true love, this has many uses; however, the most influential works of poetry stem from universal truths, meaning a truth of which anyone can connect. For example, the poem by Mayya Dev’s "Fireflies of time “. In this poem, she asks her reader if they would prefer to meet their end in fire. The reader's job is then to deliberate how each would be different and what that means according to passion. The essence of poetry is to carry the reader to a place they may have otherwise overlooked; sometimes it is interpersonal, and other times it is global.
Poetry reveals the world with its own rhythm and, depending on the author, attempts to connect the reader to the world around them.
Hope you are happy with your present life and love
Love & hugs
WILLY
