How do I depict You with my little ability?

How do I comprehend my huge love?

I hold for You, beneath?

Words are unlimited, albeit,

it gets wedged in the maze.

(Poetess Maaya Dev is expressing her own dilemma on how to express her full pledged love and devotion to Lord Krishna, beautiful depiction, especially the usage of “ little ability” and “ hugs love “ Please note that Poetess says Lord Krishna is full of love like an ocean, whereas She in turn  express her little ability to depict His (God’s) Love. Excellent  expressions, Congratulations to honorable Poetess Maaya Dev)

In this vestige, transience

What makes life beauteous?

Worship for you is my robe

I love to wear with humility.

Krishna, You are my oxygen

I breathe all the while.

The moment I feel lifeless

I have only You as refuge.

Your name is my hymn

that restores life to normalcy

(Each of us is not the material physical body, but an eternal spirit soul, part and parcel of God Krishan as a whole)

Every time I meditate upon you

I feel a divine magical wand

resurface from nowhere.

There, I see a lucid reflection

Smiling at me from inner mirror.

There I see You! I see me!

Ah! I see me in you!

Hare Krishna !!

Honorable Poetess Maaya Dev gratefully and more gracefully acknowledge her anthology of poem titled “ Shimmering Chimes” to God Krishna, she is well immersed in the love and affection of Lord Krishna as she is a true devotee of Krishna, the God.

It is true that the more we hear on God Krishna, the more we become glorified and purified. Purification means freedom from the attacks of greed and passion, then we become peaceful and happy. The sacred book Gita and the Vedic interpretations enlighten us that we are not these momentary bits and pieces of human body parts, but spirit souls, or conscious entities, and that we can find genuine peace and happiness only in spiritual devotion to God Krishna. The Gita and other well-known world scriptures recommend that people joyfully chant God’s holy names, such as Krishna, Allah, and Jehovah. Krishna or God is known by many names, according to His diverse qualities, loving nature and tricks and the extent of the relationship, or realization of the devotee.  In the Bible he is known as Jehovah (“the almighty one”), in the Koran as Allah (“the great one”), in the Bhagavad-gita as Krishna, a Sanskrit name meaning “the all-attractive one.”

The ancient hymn as mentioned in the Vedic literature  Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare or  Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare is a transcendental sound pulsation. It purifies the mind and awakens the dormant love of God that resides in the hearts of all living beings.

Anyone can take part in the chanting of Hare Krishna and learn the science of spiritual love of Krishna and all living entities by studying the Bhagavad-gita As It Is. This easy and practical process of self-realization will awaken our natural state of peace and happiness. By sincerely cultivating the authentic spiritual science of sanantana-dharma presented in the Bhagavad-gita and other Vedic scriptures, we can become free from anxiety and revive our natural state of pure, unending, blissful consciousness.

Each of us is not the material body, but an eternal spirit soul, part and parcel of God (Krishna). As such, we are all the eternal servants of Krishna and are interrelated through Him, our common father. This is our natural position but due to intensive long term association and identification with matter and materialism we have lost touch with our natural blissful position and eternal nature. We have simply become materialistic and as a result of this materialism and bodily identification we are frustrated in so many ways.

The Veda’s explain that Krishna is the eternal, all-knowing, omnipresent, all-powerful, and all-attractive Personality of Godhead. He is the seed-giving father of all living beings and the sustaining energy of the universe. He is the source of all incarnations of God, including Lord Buddha and Lord Jesus Christ. We can perfectly understand the knowledge of self-realization through the instructions of a genuine spirituality which I consider the ideal philosophy is from Bhagavath Gita, Once you read and get familiar with the spiritual interpretations on God’s own love, then you will be free from selfish motives in this insane world.

Dear Poetess  Maaya Dev, please accept my sincere congratulations for depicting the image of God in the form of Krishna as I truly understand your philosophical approach through the above poetry, keep on pouring more devotional verses from your golden pen, may God bless you in your future writings.

Regards

A brilliant poem and explained brilliantly by Mr Maveli it it easy to understand for the reader, but I think that God in any of their names is linked to fanaticism, intolerance and confrontation between races, the man is not made in the likeness of God, is God that image that lives on the inside of the human heart.

Says the author:

“Me encanta llevar tu nombre con humildad. Krishna, es mi oxígeno, le respiro todo el tiempo y en el momento que me siento sin vida él es mi último refugio. Su nombre es un himno que restaura la vida y la hace natural”

A hug and congratulations by so brilliant composition

Honorable Poetess Cherie Sumner,

Shrikrishna Bhaghavan had mainly eight wives , he was called “Ashtabharya “, the word ashta means in sanskrit eight, bharya means wife. Different  scriptures list their names differently. According to Bhagavata purana names of the eight wives in order were Rukmini, Satyabhama, Jambavati, Kalindi, Mitravinda, Nagnajiti, Bhadra and Lakshmana.

I love Hindu mythology and its interpretations, Poetess Maaya Dev has depicted the concept in  high spiritual level, I really appreciate her style and interpretation of God’s love

Love & Regards

Willy
