POET'S PEN: WILLIAMSJI MAVELI writes on  Surabhi Saxena's " Life ..so strange it is…" posted on 21st May.

Poetess Surabhi Saxena was the winner of  a third prize for her poem titled Love you forever  for the month of February this year. She has posted Nineteen poems and one story and one art work to her credit with COSMO.  Surabhi Saxena, a Delhi based Poetess is very young and is popular among Cosmofunnel writers and contributors. She is a regular contributor to our Cosmofunnel site and very active both in writing poetry and short stories.

A colourful and melodious life...
Filled with a b'ful new day...
But we never know...
A day may end forever..and departs us away..

• READ BETWEEN THE LINES

Our world is full of unexplained events, mysterious and secrets. These include real conspiracies and strange stories. There are so many unexplained phenomena... why do planes and ships disappear. The list goes on and on. There are locations all around the world that we either don't know anything about or, quite simply, are not allowed to know about.

Just memories are left behind..
And tears in our eyes..
I can't understand why it happens
When we have to satisfy with just the goodbyes

Being liked is something you don't get by trying too hard or by saying a good bye to everything. I spent a good part of this morning trying to come up with something likeable to write about poetry in my life. Thoughts came and went, but none of them stuck on. Well, it's not like there isn't much happening in my life.

I want to ask the God in heaven...
Can't he make some ammendments in his doings..
Just make us aware...
A day before when we are leaving..

and also read the lines below to enjoy the tiny parts of our life.

His little change...
May not break many hearts..
We can live to the fullest...
And enjoy life and its every little part..!!

In each case of an analysis,  I am  trying my best to envision the end result - a complete piece of writing. I am trying to compare which topic would produce a better finished piece. Best work first, right? But soon enough I realize how this endeavor of  appreciation or comparison to work it out thoroughly. The process of writing on a certain topic changes my opinion of that topic. I am forced to actually think about the topic, go over the details, and adjust my thoughts as my writing evolves. So I'll never know how the end result  will look like.

I believe each piece of writing should get what it rightly deserves - a deferred judgment. Evaluating your writing before completing it can do more harm than good.There are certain times when you sit in front of a blank screen, hopeful and lightly expectant. And magically an hour or so later you have a piece of writing that might leave you genuinely surprised.Congrats and all my best wishes and good luck  to you dear Poetess Surabhi Saxena.
