A rich girl was once rich and happy. She had a lovely house and a car. She had a beautiful boyfriend that she bragged about to everyone. She was rich in every sense of the word and it seemed that it would always be that way. Her neighbor was a poor girl who lived in an old house with no job and no true love of her own. Her days were poor and miserable and it seemed as if it would always be that way. The poor stayed poor and the rich got richer with every passing day. The rich girl was happy and content and always had enough of her own. The poor girl was always sad and lonely still. Yet, one day the rich girl's handsome boyfriend left her for another and she cried a lonely tear all on her own. The poor lass met a boy and they fell deeply in love. She smiled a lovely smile of love to herself with each passing day. For once the rich girl’s tears were truly poor after all as she wept all alone, while the poor girl’s smile was rich and happy always.
