The Run Away Love

~~Chapter 1
In LA, there are two teenagers named Austin and Lucy. They were the best of friends, “Hey Austin!” Lucy hollered. “Hey, Lucy”, Austin said sadly. “What’s wrong, Austin?” asked Lucy. Austin said, ”Nothing”. “I know you Austin, we’ve been best friends since pre-k, now tell me what’s really wrong.” said Lucy. Austin was telling Lucy that his older brother died, his mom ran away, and his dad was taking drugs. “I’m really sorry, Austin”, Lucy said softly. “Yeah, me too”, said Austin while wiping his tears off. Lucy was telling Austin that they should run away together. She doesn’t know this feeling inside of her that she likes Austin. But, what Lucy doesn’t know that Austin likes Lucy back.
Chapter 2
Austin doesn’t know what the right thing to do was. But Lucy does. Lucy told Austin about her mom died, her sister has cancer, and her dad is always at work, and they don’t have enough money for the cancer operation. “I’m so sorry, Lucy”, said Austin. Austin said to Lucy that he decided to run away with her. “Okay, pack anything you need and meet me at the park in 1 hour”, Lucy said. Austin went back to his house and packs anything he need and got some stash of money. They went in the park, waiting for the bus to come. As soon as they got on the bus, they sat on a seat and Austin asks where they are going.
Chapter 3
Lucy said to Austin that her family used to go to this very fine beach during the summer. Austin had never been to a beach. This was his first time going to the beach. While they`re in the bus, they were talking to each other for two hours and Lucy fell asleep on Austin`s shoulder. Austin feels closer to her. The next morning, Austin was listening to the radio carefully and it said, “There two teenagers missing: Lucy Connor and Austin Wilson, they were last seen in the park. Call immediately when you find these two children.” Austin started to panic; Lucy woke up by the panicking. “Austin, what`s wrong?”
Chapter 4
“The radio, it said that they are looking for us, what are we going to do?” asked Austin while panicking. “AUSTIN, CALM DOWN”, yelled Lucy. Some passengers were looking at Lucy and Austin weirdly. Austin started to calm down. “Don’t worry, when we get off the bus we will go to this cheap motel that me and my family went”, Lucy said. “Hey, uhh, Lucy”, Austin said. Lucy said, “Yeah.” “Do you have a boyfriend” Austin asked. Lucy said to Austin that she doesn’t have a boyfriend. Then later on, Lucy asked if Austin is dating anyone and then he said that he wasn’t dating anybody. Lucy started to smile. And so does Austin.
Chapter 5
“Whoo, we are finally here, at the beach”, said Lucy. Austin was really surprised that the beach was like paradise. As soon as they got in their hotel room, they were settling down in the room and Austin turned on the TV.  Austin said to Lucy that he was going outside to buy some food for them. Lucy was okay with it. For the next hour, Lucy was still waiting for Austin to get back, but he never did. “Where`s Austin, oh well, maybe he will come back tomorrow”, Lucy said. The next morning, Lucy woke up and she still notice that Austin is still missing. While Lucy was eating cereal, she decided to watch the news. “And for more other news, a young teenage boy named Austin Wilson was taken to the hospital”, said the news. Later on, Lucy was shocked as ever.

Chapter 6
When Lucy found out that her best friend was at the hospital, she went to the police department and turned herself in. “Officer, I am Lucy Connor one of the missing teenagers and Austin Wilson is at the hospital” Lucy said. The officer called Lucy`s dad and he rushed to the police department. When he went to the police department, Lucy`s dad was so happy that he gets to see his daughter and Lucy told her dad that her best friend, Austin, was at the hospital. “What are we waiting for, let`s get outta here and go to the hospital”, said Lucy`s dad, Will.  When Will and Lucy got to the hospital, Lucy saw Austin`s mom and dad. Lucy asked Austin`s parents (Ginny and Harry) how did Austin got hurt. Ginny and Harry told Lucy that Austin was walking to get some food and then a gang started to beat up him up. As Austin`s parents told Lucy how Austin got hurt, she started crying, but they`re still waiting for the results.
Chapter 7
Ginny, Harry, Lucy, and Will were still waiting for the results. When the doctor got out of the emergency room and he asked who is Austin`s parents. And the doctor said that Austin doesn`t get to make it on time and they did everything they can to save him. Ginny started crying and so does Lucy. Three months had passed by since Austin died, and Will got enough money to pay for the cancer operation for Lucy`s sister, Hermione. And the cancer operation was a success. Hermione has no more cancer. Ginny and Harry asked Lucy, Hermione, and Will if they can come to Austin`s funeral and Ginny and Harry needs to give Lucy something after the funeral.
Chapter 8
Will and Hermione said yes, but Lucy had time to think about it and she also said yes. Ginny and Harry gave Will the address and when will the funeral start. So Will, Lucy, and Hermione went to the funeral and Ginny and Harry gave a speech about how much they love their only son. Lucy gave a really sad speech about how much she love Austin as a best friend and as a really good brother to her even though they are not related. She felt super close to him as they run away.
Chapter 9
At the end of the funeral, Ginny and Harry gave a letter to Lucy that says, “To my loving friend, Lucy, from your best friend, Austin.” She didn’t open the letter until she went home. When Lucy and Hermione went to their room, Lucy decided to open the letter, it says, “Dear Lucy, since we have been best friends for a long time now, I wanted to tell you that I want you to be my girlfriend. And I will take care of you if it`s the last thing on Earth. I love you more than anything. Love and always will be, Austin”. Lucy started to cry hard. And she whispered to the letter, “Yes, and I will always love you too”.
Chapter 10
On one Friday night, Will and Hermione are getting ready for the guests. Lucy doesn’t know that Will`s worker buddy is coming over for dinner with his wife and his son who is the same age as Lucy. When Lucy met Will`s worker buddy (Ron), he introduce his son Carlos, Lucy thought that he looks like Austin and flashback came and Carlos starts to help Lucy because she got light headed from the flashbacks. Lucy and Carlos started to talk to each other and they both got everything in common. Lucy began to move on with her life and met more friends and she finally got in a relationship (Carlos) and she felt happy every single day. But she will never forget her best friend in the entire universe.
