Searching For Light In The Darkness
Where are you my sweet loving friend?
You said we would be together till the very end
It has been years since I've seen that enchanting face
Now your gone I can feel the tears rolling down my cheeks
Searching for you in the darkness not much light to be found
I'm standing yelling out your name to the tune of a deafening silence is so profound
Fate did not take hold but merely let me down
Wondering on the trail looking for you finding no signs of life
As I gaze out with the stars burning ever so bright
Did I miss seeing you or did you vanish without truly ever saying goodbye?
