Shade Cat and Sky Light

                                (THE PAST)
My name is Joseph, and I'm Shade Cat,  Cat Woman's son, and I have the ability to see danger with people in my family before it happens. We can communicate with our keen sight and make others in our family see what they see durring high levels of danger. My mother was accused of stealing The Hope Diamond four years ago when I was fourteen. Although there wasnt any accurate evidence, the cops put her in jail and electrified the bars so she couldn't escape. My fauther, a sheriff at the time, was hatching a plan to free her, but when the cops from that jail found out.....they shot him at his desk point blank range. The vision went black and I snapped back the moment he was killed.... Soon aftet that, I my mother and the same cops at the bars of her cell. They looked drunk. One of them oppened the bars while the others had their guns ready. She tried to run but only managed to get a few feet down the hallway before they opened fire... Since I was only fourteen I didn't know how to project my sight into another person yet. I couldn't protect my innocent family from their murders...
                               (PRESENT DAY)
I'm eighteen now and I've been in so many houses since the tragedy. It was about time I learned what it's like to be a hero like my parents. I hid for so long but now I am being adopted my the very woman who helped my mother realize her true self. The house was filled with books and dust and I was welcomed with a warm smile by an amazing woman who seemed really old but it was hard to tell what age. As I walked in she hugged me tight and for the next week I was taught about my mother's adventures as Cat woman. What stuck with me the most was her famous line, "I may not be a hero, But I'm certainly not a criminal." The woman told me that was on her first mission. I closed my eyes and my tears fell to the floor... She wasn't a criminal; she was my hero. I did training for a few months with my caregiver, but realized I didn't know her name. So instead of calling her mam all the time, I asked what it was. She simply smiled and said, "Bast." I was shocked but not surprised. She was the Cat Goddess. I woke up the next morning and was about to head downstairs when a piercing sting flooded my head and I saw a young girl being bullied. Another older girl was yelling at her and punching her in the face inside a house. I saw her run outside onto the street and almost get hit by an on coming car, but I managed to get a street sign she looked at. It said Molaki Street and it looked to be in a small city. When I snapped back Mrs. Bast was in front of me with her hand on my shoulder. I was sweating and shaky at the thought. She said in a calm voice, "It's time you accepted yourself, for that is the only way you'll be free to find your sister, Sky Light. Now go! I'll always be here waiting to meet her." I thanked her a few times and hugged her goodbye. Then darted out the door with a determination I never knew I had. I whispered to myself. I hope to make my mother proud worh my first mission. Find Sky Light on Molaki Street in Conway, Arkansas.
