The souls, caught in between

It was a custom by the Master  to announce the names of the sponsors who paid money for various intentions. As a large number of people used to assemble every day for the convention, more and more people offered money for their specific intentions. If a person offered money with the intention of helping the soul to reach heaven, he ensured that only the name of the deceased person he wished to be elevated to the heaven is given.   But, on an average, a large number of people did not hesitate to offer money; some for fear of consequences by the souls of the dead.

During his discourse, the Master tried to make the people understand  about being generous, the need of having large-heartedness and to shed selfishness. As there was a very big list of people, who offered money with their specific intention of helping the soul of the deceased to reach heaven, the Master announced that the prayers of all people who have paid money for the specific intention of helping the souls of the deceased to reach heaven be heard.

No one offered any amount thereafter to the Master, though he was  a great philosopher,  known for his piousness, righteousness, vision and crowd control,  to help the souls of the deceased reach heaven as he just missed to call out the names of the people with their specific intentions. People were least interested whether it helped the souls to reach heaven or not, but they were very particular that their names were announced publicly and that was what made them pay to the Master. It is heard that the Master has moved to a distant place, far, far far away from the present place.
