SPARROWSONG'S FIRE IN THE CLOUD

IT'S SNOWING!

You were out there for quite awhile...
What were you doing?
I was watching the moon play hide and seek with the clouds and...
Watching the stars move really fast across the sky and...
I was watching the red cloud...
Red cloud?
Yes!
It was...
AMAZING!
It looked like it was on...
FIRE!
I was ready to get the hose...
Then I realized two things...
What was that Sparrowsong?
First, I couldn't find it in the dark and under the snow...
Second, I wouldn't have been able to reach the cloud to put the fire out...
What exactly did the cloud look like?
I told you it looked like it was on...
FIRE!
It was red, maybe orange, maybe red orange or orange red...
It was definitely fire color is all I know...
Sparrowsong do you know what makes the cloud appear that color?
Umm...

Sparrowsong would it make you feel better if you knew the color of a cloud depends on the color that illuminates it?

It says also that it has alot to do with scattering of light by air between the cloud and the observer...
Does that explain it?

The really nice part is that it isn't on fire...

Rich here came down and dropped new computer off at the house
checked a couple of your wrights. Not bad gal any way got to go
working this week had to bring machine down. Rick says you might be coming
