a spirit to take me away

I heard a noise, along with a soft eary voice,

I live alone in a dark mansion, creaking floors, dark shadows; blinding halls, unable to see without my candles lit.

A ghost i fear is near, haunting my home, im here alone "What does this spirit want with me?"

Im a kind man, no need to be haunted, A giving hand kindness not to be flaunted.

I hear another tapping, rapping at my door "Go away!" I emplore "leave me spirit! haunt me no longer!"

This spirit i feel is somber. Could it be the ghost of my late wife? haunting me on this bitter winter night? I pray and pray, in hopes this spirit will go away, but the knocking continues to knock. I have left my door unlocked, but it is to no use, for a key nor a door does a spirit use. I must see, yes see! if its truely a spirit haunting me. I push the blankets off, only to feel the cold winters frost. My fire has been burned out for over an hour, but to leave my bed i only express cower. I press my foot on the cold wooden floor, a creak frighten me even more! I gather my thoughts, not to show fear, coould it be my late wife? now dead for over a year? I move from my bed to slowly creep to the door, rapping and tapping even more! My fear now at its peak, i can barely move my feet, knees shake; body quakes "leave me alone!" I shout "for goodness sake!" I move closer as the tapping became louder, along with a soft voice an inaudible chatter, but a womans voice i hear, an unfamiliar voice haunting my ear. My hand shaking I grab the door handle, swing it open and womans face mangled! I shreik!, left breathless, heart beating through my chest! I lose my footing, fall to the ground, the ghostly face stare upon me without a sound! Crawl to my bed, hide under the covers, terrified from the vision of my undead lover. After a few moments I hear nothing more, peek from my blankets no ghost to be found. I sit up and look just to make sure, with my door still open, I peer into the pitch black hallway. Iight my candlestick near my bedside. I must be brave, dont run and hide. As I reach the halls, not even a sound, as if no more spirits were around. Suspicious I thought, where could it be? it couldnt have possibly already left me. I walk through black terrifying halls, only to see something moving on the walls, I investigate only find that its blood! "OH GOD! OH GOD! WHAT HAVE I DONE!?" I cannot run to my room for the door has slammed shut! trapping me here with no such luck! the ghost reappear with ghoulish hands! throwing me to the wall with such hellish demand! I run and run but Cannot escape! Im sure this will be my fate! "what do you command with me?" I shout. Fearing my life was in doubt. It spoke no words, just showed terrifying visions so sinister, removing its head, chilling my bones more than this bitter mid-winter. I do not know of this evil spirits intentions, maybe just to get my attention, maybe just to torture me, sent from hell. Then suddenly I hear the loud ring of a bell and it appears in front of me with an instantaneous flash. Yelling that this night will be my last! It is a reaper come to collect my soul, it is for me for whom this bell tolls. I run back to my room to find it unlocked, burst open the door to find a shock. What do I see laying in my bed? I see myself, I am already dead. I galnce back only to see, that the reaper is there following me. It has already won; taken my life my body has frozen on this harsh winter night. I give myself to the reaper and it drags me to hell. Where eternity I am tortured in my cell. I believed myself kind but secrets i keep, my late wife i murdered, when my anger at its peak. I pay the ultimate sacrifice, for taking the life of my beautiful late wife. So here I spend forever rotting. with demons and fire and the tortures theyre plotting. Ripping, Tearing, and shredding my skin, justice for my life of sin.

Here I stay deseredly,

This will be.....my eternity.
