STORY LINE – SCREEN WRITE OF "AMORE "

SYNOPSIS: Just what is a fact film?. In contrast to the theatrical release feature film, the traditional entertainment   "movie" , the fact film is one designed primarily to inform and/or influence and also to inspire. A "message" picture, it sells ideas in virtually every field of human knowledge. Thousands of such films are made each year,  by hundreds of production units in different countries all over the world at a cost that runs very high even to millions and billions of dollars. This is where you come in, of course, someone has to write a script for each and every one of thousands of pictures in sequence. In short, this is another experimental write-up of a screen script by WILLIAMSJI MAVELI based on the story  by POETESS PIUSHA SINGH  posted at COSMO on 29th May, titled as   AMORE   - Readers are most welcome to post their most valuable comments - WILLIAMSJI MAVELI

"AMORE"

 Notes to the Director

Characters are Mr. Richard Murphy Mrs: Ariel Powell, staff nurse:  Richard Murphy is a retired Marine Engineer .He had a great life, with two kids settled overseas. Three months ago, Mr.Murphy had collapsed in a party .He had a massive stroke and his left side has been paralyzed, he is compos mentis but unable to perform his daily activities, for full assistance. During assessment, and  conversation with Mr. Murphy by the Nurse,he appeared to be weary. Next day morning,  staff reported  Mr.Murphy as very rude, always unhappy about the service. During the Nurse's  rounds and on conversing with Mr.Murphy, the attending nurse realized that Mr. Murphy is totally frustrated and depressed with life . As once he,told the nurse  ,"if i could walk,i will get up and walk out of that door, never turning back." To boost his spirits, Mrs Murphy requested a private room for Mr.Murphy,same was arranged - Situation in brief

Take 1

Indoor

2nd day in the hospital.

  Camera captures Mr. Murphy's different  angry moods.

Murphy: "What kind of service are you giving? This is rubbish. I hate you all. "

He is behaving very rude, always unhappy about the service. During the rounds the nurse is very keen to attend and converse with Mr.Murphy. Various shots between Mr. Murphy and the nurse

Take 2

Indoor

Mr.Murphy :  I need a separate room . I don't want to see the outside world. " He grumbled. Camera on the faces of the Nurse and Mr. Murphy.

Take 3

Indoor

Nurse: "What is wrong with you? Why don't you watch the TV and relax.

New room for Mr. Murphy. A TV and a remote all other modern amenities are aviaile in the room. But Mr. Murphy is not at all interested in anything

Take 4

Indoor

Mr. Murphy is sitting in the room very gloomy. He never smiles.

Take 5

Indoor

Nurse is coming with a smiling face. Camera focusing oh her hanging identity card. She is dealing with  Mr. Murphy in a polite and kind way

Indoor

Mr. Murphy looking at the nurse in a blissful way. He is holding her hands.

Take 7

Indoor

Various shots between the nurse and Mr. Murphy. They are both in a special mood. One side friendliness, the other side is projecting love and despair.

Take 8

Indoor

The nurse is holding Mr. Murphy in her arms. Mr. Murphy is feeling happy and rejoicing-Various shots

Take 9

Indoor

Nurse is about to leave the hospital: Mr. Murphy,

I am leaving now. Okay Good night. See you tomorrow

Take 10

Indoor

Mr. Murphy looks so sad. He grumbles on her departure. Camera focusing on his angry faces.
