What is a story? Every human being is carrying a story of his or her own and each and every story has a beginning, middle, and end. It may be summarized as the record of how some imaginary person writes on life. But the secret to successfully getting a short story written or fulfilled  is to add something special to your style of story telling or the way it is being told or carried to the readers or audience as appropriate.

While there are no hard and fast rules for creating a great short story, it depends purely on the writers wish how to start with a word, a sentence or a paragraph for a short story or a page for a novel. Identify the heart  of your story. Explore your motivations; determine what you want your story to do, then stick to your central part of the message involved in it.  An effective story will be attractive by its use of desire and danger to manipulate human tension among readers. That is to to say, it poises them for action, then relaxes the, according to a planned pattern. Readers look into the stories because they find a thrill to read and to follow the flow of tension and emotions stimulating and pleasurable.

The start-up or the beginning of Piusha Singh's story is excellent through her superb style with a nice beginning " Liza sat listening to the country music , sipping wine, gazing into the starry sky, on an old rugged couch. Submerged deeply in vague thoughts ,she whispered sighing deeply ,."I wish to be a bird".Phone rang,"Liza, come down quickly, clients are waiting" a rude voice at the other end of the receiver "

Keep a different Eye

See life differently. A unique observation from your mind can provide the most compelling, focused experience of the central story. Just be careful that you don’t unintentionally give the story to a non-essential character. Narrating the story line through a character that is not central to the action is a common mistake many new authors make, often with confusing or complicated results. In today's case study, I take up the story written and posted  by our favorite author Piusha Singh titled as "An Escort" . The story revolves around the life of Liza and her job in the role of a prostitute.Piusha Singh narrates about the character, but the introduction is not that much strong as the quoted lines from her story reveals readers should get into the character easily without a narration This is not happening in this story.

Liza is an escort girl since age 17 ,she joined prostitution to
meet her college expenses .She  met many known faces from various walks
of  life ,in 5 years as an escort. Many times she was just seen as an erotic object .Slapped, boxed, kicked ,raped and thrown out of car

When you write, you should never think initially who is going to read the story and do not wind up the story all on a sudden due to any reason. Sleep for some time with your story, develop its different situations in the most realistic way and style.Poetry or story or any form of literature needs to be taken up with utmost care and proper scrutiny.

Dear William,I am honored for considering my poem for your story line.I am a passionate learner. All mentioned constructive criticism will be taken into serious consideration while writing my next Story.Recently ,I started enjoying writing ,but in this story I tried to explain in few lines why Liza fell in this trap ...."Liza is an escort girl since age 17 ,she joined prostitution to meet her college expenses"So I think justice is done by explaining in few lines regarding her option as an Escort. Many youg girls are falling into this lucrative trap due to quick method to earn more money but later regretting and struggling to quit this work ,due to social inhibitions .And in my story my character doesnt like to remain as a prostitute.

I am sorry to say but I am speaking on behalf of them means ,I couldn't accept these lines of yours as no woman in the world will wish to become a prostitute. Each prostitute will have her own tale to say

So I couldn't agree with these lines of yours...

The prostitute thinks that she has tried to counteract it by putting herself in what she sees as a position of power over them. "I
am the one who control men and their world, they're paying me. I'm not
stupid and I have something to do with proving to myself that I can be
the one to control, and that I can have something at the end of it. This is what I can say when the visitors walks out of my door."

My deep gratitude for evaluating my work and guiding me to write better.

Dear Piusha,

Many thanks for your comments based on the story " An Escort ". In view of my STORY LINE, i wish to emphasis that the story from our veteran Poetess Piusha Singh is excellent.

From my observational side, I wish to remove the below quoted lines as this has been misinterpreted in a wrong way from my side as an observational deviation and error. Regret for any inconvenience caused.

Observation:

It is indeed hard to understand why a woman who isn't a drug addict or a terrorist would become a prostitute or an escort? But then there are a huge number of reasons why someone finds themselves in this situation. Some are the victims of a horrific attack and sexual assault, which left them with an anxiety about men. The prostitute thinks that she has tried to counteract it by putting herself in what she sees as a position of power over them. "I am the one who control men and their world, they're paying me. I'm not stupid and I have something to do with proving to myself that I can be the one to control, and that I can have something at the end of it. This is what I can say when the visitors walks out of my door."

With all my best regards and love to author Piusha Singh and other viewers.

Dear Piusha,

Thanks for your most valuable comments about this new column titled as " STORY LINE ", Why I felt like introducing this only because much stories are not appearing at our COSMO SITE. I wish to bring in line  even poets to scribble small story threads, let us see the response to this trend.

Love

WILLIAMSJI
