That One Night

Evenings in Porto always felt like kisses left burning on the skin—wet, fragrant, and wrapped in slow music. But that night was something else. The air didn’t just smell of rain, it reeked of desire.
Sofia leaned forward from the back seat, whispered into Miguel’s ear,
“Push the pedal, baby…”
Miguel grinned as he started the engine. The gentle roar of the car tore through the silence like a hand touching bare skin for the first time.
As the car glided across the Dom LuĂs I Bridge, the Douro River below reflected the ripple of their awakening desire. Sofia's breathing grew faster, like her body was remembering an old secret, reawakening.
“This speed drives me wild,” she said, folding her legs tighter, “or maybe it's you…”
Miguel shifted gears. The jerk of the car sent a shiver through Sofia’s body like an electric wave. She laughed, but her laughter was more like a melody of soft gasps waiting to turn into moans.
“What are you doing to me?” she asked softly.
“It feels like fire inside me…”
Miguel kept one hand on the wheel, the other reached behind her neck—gently, dominantly. Her spine arched. Eyes closed, lips parted.
“Porto’s streets are narrow…” she teased, “but tonight… no brakes, no rules.”
The car stopped at a secluded riverside near Ribeira. Outside was the river’s mist. Inside was the heat of two bodies about to collide. Sofia threw herself into his arms like a woman parched for years, tasting her thirst only in this one forbidden moment.
“Touch me… not like a lover… like a storm,” she whispered.
Miguel pulled her close. Their lips met—first softly, then like hunger. The car windows fogged. Porto slept outside. But inside the car, a world had woken up—burning, wet, and alive.
“Does this feel real?” Sofia asked, their breaths catching up.
Miguel stared deep into her eyes, “It’s a dream… but your taste is more intense than reality.”
The night passed. But that one night—that one night in Porto—became a chapter etched in their skins, one that time could never erase.
It was only one night…
But it felt like a lifetime of light slipping across their bodies.
