The Bird's Symphony

The Bird's Symphony

It was spring again in the lovely April month. The dawn broke red, pink and golden as the splendid sun started to rise on the horizon. The garden was a lovesome thing of green grass and the green, green leaves on all of the trees. The flowers in the flowerbeds were a cascade of beautiful colors red, purple, yellow and orange. They displayed the beauty of their blooms for the whole wide world to see and admire. Love was in the air once more, yet the garden was deathly quiet this time of morning. No sound of joy or laughter echoed from the tree trunks and soon the lovely blooms echoed in silence 'Where is the sound of merriment and happiness to make all of creation smile with love and dearness. Where, oh where, is the sounds of joy and laughter to make our beautiful world complete once more?' 'Yes, where is the song of the heart. Oh, where is the song? Oh, where is the song?' the lovely trees echoed in agreement with all of nature. Still the silence endured for a long time as only the cool breeze whispered through the green grass and the leaves of the beautiful garden. All was quiet and in silence still and the gentle wind mourned in silence. Until a solitary little bird alighted on the branches of a tall tree nearby, and soon he was singing his lovely song from all of his heart to whole wide world below. 'Tweet-tweet-tweet' it sang from deep within its splendid red breast 'Tweet-a-tweet-a-song-of-love.' It sounded from tree to tree as the lovely garden was soon filled with a symphony of birdsong as other little birds joined in his chorus of joy and the love of life. The world was now truly awakened once more in song and the splendor of the eternal beauty of nature. Sometimes it takes just a little bird's song to make the whole world complete. Sometimes it just takes the touch of magic to bring one's own love song to life. Sometimes all we all need is love and beauty. Sometimes all we need is a song of love after all. ย
