The Ironman & The Rose
A man with an iron heart once lived in an iron house. His fences and gates were made from the strongest steel to keep him safe and at ease with himself. Inside his four iron walls he ruled with a will of iron, on nothing and no-one could penetrate the armor of steel with which he surrounded himself day and night. It seemed that he would be a man of iron in his cold steel iron world forever, ruling by cold and merciless calculation of his mind. A mind of steel will that ruled over all around him with an iron fist. His world was cold and hard and barren, and he had no time for the tender mercies of humanity and sentiment towards his fellow men and beings, who themselves were made out of mere flesh and blood. A cold steel man in a cold steel world with thoughts of steel that bound all around him to slavery and subjugation of his own harsh law. The law of an iron will. Yet, one bright spring day, the gardener came and planted a lovely red rose out front in the garden. It was splendid and breathtaking beyond measure. The beautiful rose grew summer and winter and bloomed in an eternal spring of beauty for all the world to behold. As red as the love of a queen for her king. As warm as the living breath of the spring and the summer. As true as the blue blood that flowed in the veins of all true royalty forever. A beautiful red rose of passion that would bloom forever in glory and splendor. The man of iron felt his steel senses overwhelmed at once at the sight of such beauty and magnificence. His heart of steel melted with the warmth of passion and love at the sight of such a beautiful vision. His iron resolve softened into a heart of mere flesh and blood. And his mind grasped the tender mercies of humanity for the first time in his long life. He became a mere man in an instant of eternal love. The man with the soul of steel was overcome by the beauty of passion after all. Love conquers all. Love is the essence of life.
