The Last Time...

Kash was always leaving Rage behind . She never understood why. He himself was never sure why. He loved her. Just not enough to stay. He would always be there though. He would always come back. But never when she needed him. Only when he needed her. That will wear her thin over the years. He just never could find the time to love her the way he knew she deserved to be loved. The way she loved him. But he could never not see her. Shes always been there. She's like the sun or the grass...There everyday. So you tend to take it for granted. Because you don't realize how much you really need it. How much you truly enjoy its presence and  the security of knowing it won't break your heart. Kash never meant to hurt her. But he left her lying on the floor in tears everytime. How he could just walk away like that if he loved her no one will ever know. He was a type of machine. Mechanical heart.  Turn it on and off with a switch. Must be nice. I wouldn't want it though. Your pain is essential. To learning. To living. To loving. If you have no pain how do you know its real. You have to feel something. You can't go through life not feeling anything. You'll never survive .. Because in the end.....everything you didn't love and give your time too it comes back. It haunts you like a ghost with a vendetta. And that is so much worse I promise you. Because its to late by then. There is nothing you can do but sit there and think about all you could have done to save it. To save her. But were too busy..........that last time he left her on the floor.  He looked back at her and told her he loved her. She said " Then Stay. Just stay. " it's the only thing she has ever asked of him. And the one thing he won't give her. Then he turned and he walked away. He stood on the other side of the door and he could hear her crying. But he can't hear that now. And with the flip of a switch he was gone.....
