The Moon & The Window

It was a bright and starless night. The full round moon shone in brilliance above in the sky. It shined its white light through the window of the small house down below. ‘You are so majestic and beautiful shining above in love and beauty always. While I am just a common old window with no real purpose in life.’ said the small lonely window to the moon. ‘Yes, that is true, I am the Queen of the night shining in all my glory for all to see and admire.’ replied the lovely white moon above. Just then the charming lady of the house stepped up to the window herself and said in wonder ‘My, how splendid and beautiful the moon is tonight.’ and sighed to herself. This made the beautiful moon so happy that he shone even brighter from high above. ‘See,’ said the tiny little window ‘I am just a plain old window yet still I have my uses also.’ and smiled happily to his new friend in the sky. We all have a reason to exist from the greatest to the small. Shine on in love and beauty always.
