The Sun Woman

The girl was born in the love of a man and a woman. They loved their little girl dearly and always held her close to their hearts. Yet, one day, the man was called far away by the King to foreign lands on further shores. Never to be heard of again by his wife and dear child of love. The little girl grew up sad and alone in a dark, cold and starless night. The wind blew sadly in the dark night of her youth and the bright white moon kept a lone vigil above. Her childhood always became a sad and lonely night of sorrow and loneliness. Yet soon the dawn of the day of her maidenhood drew closer and as the beautiful day of her youth dawned she became a precious and lovely young girl of beauty and charm deep inside. She was a mistress of great beauty and dearness and as the morning sun shone brightly above her he saw that she was sad and lonely still. ‘Why are you so sad and all alone, always my beauty?’ he asked of the lovely young lass in her hour of sorrow. ‘My father has flown away to further shores never to return to my dear heart again, leaving me always alone and sadly still.’ replied the beautiful maiden. ‘Then I shall be your father and your caretaker always.’ replied the proud sun above ‘For no beauty should be without a father for all of her days. And least of all not you, my pretty one.’ He assured her with all his heart as he shone brightly above her still. And that is how the warm and loving sunshine became her own dear father always to shine his love on her all of her days of youth and love. The sun is in our hearts still although all other love forsakes us. Shine on in true love forever dear hearts of love and tenderness. The sun shines with true love on us all forever.
