The Woman's Heart

A Strong Woman’s loving heart and her two strong arms once had an argument about who was the most powerful of all so they held a small contest to see who was the strongest of the two. The arms took a hammer in their hands and hit a large stone cracking it wide open instantly with a single mighty blow. ‘See how strong we are,’ boasted the arms ‘You can’t do that yourself. You are but a weak heart after all.’ ‘That is no test.’ responded the heart ‘ See yonder knight in his strong suit of armor. I bet you I can break his heart before you do.’ said the heart to the muscled arms. So again the arms took up their mighty hammer and struck the knight a mighty blow on the chest. But nothing happened because the man’s strong chest was protected by an invincible steel breastplate covering his whole body and protecting him from any harm. ‘Now is my turn,’ said the strong lady’s beautiful heart. The knight gave the noble mistress one look and his heart was taken by her instantly. She however just turned and walked away from all his amorous advances. Playing hard to get was always a sure way to get through to any man’s love she knew too well. The strong knight’s heart was instantly broken through the protection of his mighty steel armor when she all but refused his true heart’s love and passion. ‘See, my great love is always stronger than any might or force you may use,’ said the lady’s heart to her two strong arms and smiled in victory.
