To be or not to be; Bittersweet

                                                                  Chapter 1
       Once upon a time, there lived a stubborn and proud bee whose name was Neil. Neil was very special to his family, and so he was spoilt. Most times, he only cared about his well being and he was used to having his way. Neil was confident, funny, and charismatic, he knew everyone and knew his way around. 
       In the same valley lived Yollan, who was as pretty as a flower. Yollan was different from Niel, she was quiet, very considerate, and selfless. She smelled so fragrant that it was extremely healing and relaxing to be around her. Even though she was simple and quiet, she was loved and had many friends.
       Every summer, during pollination season, Niel and Yollan would meet each other in the field. They were not friends so they never really spoke. "He's so arrogant" she thought, "everyone likes me but him". Meanwhile Niel was attracted to Yollan, he had always been. He liked her since they were younger but he thought, "Yollan is so beautiful, she will never like someone like me", so he decided never to tell her his feelings. What Niel did not know was, Yollan found him interesting, the more he ignored her, the more she thought about him. She was already starting to like him.
      A new family moved into the valley, and naturally, one of their sons took Interest in Yollan. He went to Niel to seek advice on how to approach Yollan, and for the first time, Niel was really bothered. This made him realize how much he liked Yollan, he decided to make his move before it gets too late. Niel was finally prepared to confess to Yollan. "What's the worst that could happen", he thought.
       On one fine Sunny day, whilst the flowers smelled mildly sweet and everyone went out to eat, Niel approached Yollan. She had waited so long for this day, if only he knew. She could sense he was coming towards her so she waited, of course masking her nervousness. "What flower do you like the most?" he asked. She smiled and said, "I hate making choices, I just go for whatever, depending on my mood". "Perfect", Niel said, "If you let me be your friend I will fetch you whatever flower you want, I'm very good at that you know?".  Yollan smiled, she liked the thought of being his friend but she remembered he was not one to mess with. Almost everyone called him rude and disrespectful. One time she witnessed him angrily warning an adult who in his words 'disrespected him'. After these thoughts crossed her mind, she replied saying, "sometimes I get too free with my friends so I am a little worried about saying something that may offend you". Don't worry Niel said, from today, I permit you to talk to me however you please. We are friends now...... To be continued.
