Toy Snake

The master felt happy that all his disciples were so engrossed in the discourse that they forgot whereΒ they were!Β The disciples felt as if they are dwelling with God in heaven so piercing was the discourse the Master was delivering. He was teaching them the need of real faith and the wonders faith can do in life.
Amongst them were children with various toys in their hands and one toy snake fell down and the child cried snake, snake. First to run outside the meditation hall was mother of the child, dragging her child. This was followed within no time by other disciples.Β In no time, the hall was empty; the dais was empty with no speaker to deliver the discourse and no disciple to listen to.
Having managed to flee out to the open space, the master engaged a few of his courageous men to search and kill the poisonous snake inside the hall, which disrupted the discourse. Armed with rods and specially made snake-catching tools, they checked each and every corner of the hall to find finally a toy snake. When they came out, the child cried out againΒ βmy snake, my lost snake, give it to meβ¦..β.
All the disciples as well as the Master felt shy of themselves and never after the Master dared again to deliver discourse in his life. He felt ashamed and went to learn the art of concentrating and focusing himself .
