Born in sighisiara in 1431, he was taken with his brother and educated by ottomans in his youth. Born to a king father, his mother is unknown. He was Christian but that didn't stop his phycho behavior.Β His father and brother radu were murdered. Radu was buried alive. When vlad came to poweelr he put a gold chalice in the city square for people to drink from. No one did out of fear. Vlad terrorized wallachia, an area of romania. Anyone who visited his castle became impaled on poles. He joked about their deaths. Historians have guessed he killed from 40000 to 100000. The real number us unknown. But his reign of terror ended when the turks invaded and killed him. He was beheaded and his body buried in Bucharest.Β
