WORD BIRD
Take me to your mind,
Be a word bird, so kind,
In the quiet mind's endless flight,
A bird of passion soars, her wings alight.
With feathers of fervor, it takes to the sky,
Carrying within a peace, a gentle sigh.
Take me to your mind,
Be a word bird, so kind,
In her beak, an olive leaf of grace,
A token of beauty in this boundless space.
Through realms of thought, it gracefully glides,
Embracing the vastness where truth resides.
Take me to your mind,
Be a word bird, so kind,
May our minds like this word bird take a flight,
Embracing passion, seeking truth's light.
And within our souls, may beauty reside,
As we journey through the vastness,
side by side.

ANALYSIS BY
DR. CIJO JOSEPH IS BELOW:
Your poem titled “WORD BIRD " is a poem that is a representation of the imagination running riot when it comes to the delineation of poetry. The creation of a poetic work is akin to a bird's flight in the air.
When it comes to a bird, first it flaps its wings to soar high, once it gets off the ground, it attains a momentum of automatic proportion. When, it reaches the sky, it is in an autopilot mode with the flying happening as per the force of nature.
Likewise, the imagination for writing a poem germinates in the heart first, then it gushes forth having multifarious ways and means. Then, it gets into a motion of right tone and tenor culminating in the unveiling of a work of art of exceptional pedigree. Once, the imagination reaches its climatic position, a literary creation of immense aesthetic sensibility is born.
