WILLIAMSJI MAVELI'S POEM REVIEWED BY DR. CIJO JOSPEH

Cijo Joseph Chennelil 's
creatively positive rumination as part of the New Year Gift series on a wonderful poem titled “ MISTY GIRL ” delineated by WILLIAMSJI MAVELI Ji from India.
MISTY GIRL
The world transformed, a winter's grace,
Snowflakes dance away, it is a gentle pace.
A cute baby girl, with eyes, without any fearl,
Gazes out, a hilly wondrous sight of delight,
The cool air is crisp, with a frosty bite,
But fearlessly, she steps out towards the steep,
A tiny hand, a vibrant hue,
Lifts a bright umbrella, brand new.
The snow descends, a soft caress,
Upon her cheek, a gentle press.
She twirls and laughs, a joyful sound,
As snowflakes fall all around.
The umbrella sways, a colorful bloom,
A shelter bright, dispelling gloom.
A tiny figure, brave and bold,
A winter's tale, a story told.
The snow keeps falling, soft and deep,
While baby girl, her secrets keep.
Of wonder felt, and joy so pure,
In this magical, snowy hour.

WILLIAMSJI MAVELI Ji,
Your poem titled " MISTY GIRL " is a poem that is inclined towards a philosophical pathway in letter and spirit. The seasonal change is ushered into by the onset of Winter. The world does get into a domain of hibernation. The bewitchingly beautiful girl scans the scene of snow covered mountains with an attitude of amazement. The landscape is so taxing on her physical self, but her indomitable spirit triumphs over the adversities and harshness around. She weathers all the storms in life and gets exposed to enjoyment of the highest pedigree. Her winter of despondency dissipates and she stands up to the challenges of the world. Her demeanour of courage reasserts itself in every step of the way in terms of her life. Kudos to you for composing such a poem of outstanding nature.
