A wish from a quiet girl

Everyday I hear the same thing. "Be more like us!" Say the popular girls. "Stop being a freak." Say the jocks. Everyday I see the same thing. Everyone sticks to their clique. Nobody goes out of the social normal in high school. All you do is bring others down but you never understand what that really does to them. You hit me, you insult me. You never see me cry. I never cry from you. You don't deserve the thought of this. I go home and I punch or bite my own body. You won't ever see me crack. For once, see the pain you cause. Understand that money can't replace a life. When you go broke and ask for money from ME, I'll laugh and give you what you gave me. The idea that you're not wanted. I'll walk away and leave you with nothing. Maybe then you'll understand what you've done. I grow strong and you grow vulnerable.

I am the quiet girl you don't talk to. I'm the shy girl you laugh at for my stutter. After everything you've done, I still wish for you to have a good life. If you go broke, I won't even give you a sideways glance. You never gave your actions a second thought. I wish you could see what might happen to you.
