For A better Future

It's more than a desire or a dream, It's been something that wills me since I was a child. I always wanted to help. I thought of several ways of doing so. Funny enough I was a fan of recycling cos I cared about nature, Micheal's earth song got to me. But all this I could do with the help of my family. What could I offer?

As I grow up my desire to help orphans and women and children grew stronger. These drove and made my decision to go into the medical field. In African like all parts of the world, Science courses were tough. I prayed so hard to pass my senior secondary examination which I saw then as a great huddle,I had no idea what life had in stock for me. But amazingly I did in my first sitting. It was time for admission into a University which is another challenge in the lives of Students, you may be forced to settle for a course other than the one you planned for. Yes, that happened to me, after almost two years of applying for medicine,I just couldn't get in, there were lots of policies and stuff around it. I studied another medical related course, had some laboratory experience. It seemed okay. I appreciated it. 

One day I went for an immunization program, to help eradicate Polio. I saw there was so much suffering and illness, so many women and children who needed some form of help medical, physical, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I got home so sad, broken,so drained, tired and disappointed . My best friend,my boyfriend came over and I explained the whole situation to him and my dad. They both tried to raise my spirit. As I walked hand in hand with my man, he suggested, since already we had an organization which could help supply provision for women and especially children, If we truly wanted to provide medical services as well why not do it ourselves. 

It was in that moment we decided to go again for medicine. Its crazy, it's going to take years and needs a lot of finances. But what  good thing is ever gotten without sacrifice and without the help and prayers of other? It wasn't easy but we got our admission and started the journey. so many trials, so many pressure,so many times I was tempted to pack my bags, so many time I hoped and prayed for my results. But thank God there was always help, hope and light on the way. I also found Cosmofunnel along the way, which help in so many ways.

 I can't believe it. I'm in my final year. I'm almost close to the task. And this is my wish for the  now and years to come: That I can be a great help to as many that come my way. That I will have good knowledge and wisdom and be equipped to help as many women and children not only in African but all over the world.That I can be a channel for many to reach to as many that need help. That I will be able to use my hands to save as my lives God enables me to and use my words to touch as much that it can reach through Cosmofunnel and any other wonderful means. For a better future.
