Wish -
HUG FROM A STRANGER
Holding the pen to fill out the form
Hand violently trembles
I lock eyes with a boy about my age
Instantly I blush from embarrassment
This then brings on the symptom defined as anxiety
I see the chills on my arms as I feel my forehead begin to perspire
It is not as if I am trying to impress him
I am just overwhelmed with the situation
Always stuck in waiting rooms
Filling out the same damn paperwork
Sitting next to complete strangers
Wishing I knew one of them
Only one
Who would walk over to me and give me a hug

As odd as it may sound I know exactly how you feel, but it's sad because nowadays it seems like, "if we aren't blood related or have been friends for like ever, there is nothing we have to say to each other" I wish people were more friendly and didn't act only when they see someone else acting friendly, it almost creates tension when two strangers are in a room now, I for one could talk to anyone familiarly just wish others were the same, cool wish Val ;)
