I Wish

I wish people could see the world as I do,

Where integrity is you and your word is true,

Where the innocents of a child would rein supreme,

Where crime would only be a bad dream, how would that seem,

I wish!

I wish you wouldn't judge me by the color of my skin,

Cause my heart is big and my skin is thin,

But I'll survive; see these scars on my chin,

I wish!

I wish racism was completely gone,

So people can stop staring at me and my wife like its wrong,

Moms and Dads I'm putting this on you,

They aren’t born racist; they're just following what you do,

I wish!

I wish these ignorant people would understand,

That Muslim is different than the Taliban,

That Obama was elected not picked to be the man,

You can't tell who's a terrorist, just by looking at them, no one can,

I wish!

I wish you would embrace immigration not attack it with hate,

Cause without immigration your ancestors would have never mate,

Which would have surely sealed your fate!

I wish!

I wish you'd see, that it’s Americans that are stealing all the money,

Taking advantage of the words land of the free,

Refusing to work and getting three welfare checks with their fake ID,

I wish!

I wish poverty never was,

So each of us could live how the other does,

Where what you got is just as good as mine,

Where I’m fine really meant I’m really fine,

We could even get rid of that welfare line,

I wish!

I wish our kids would take our advice,

So their futures they wouldn’t have to sacrifice,

Making the same mistakes we already made,

I guess they’ll have to learn the hard way,

I wish! 

I wish you would understand that it’s not what they call you it’s what you answer to, so don’t answer nigger,

Cause answering to nigger will almost surely make you a statistical figure,

Yeah I'm talking to you too, the one they call wigger,

I wish!

I wish you would just help me make theses wishes come true,

I wish you would stop just thinking about you,

Cause these wishes are well over due,

If you tell me your wishes, I promise to help you with yours too,
