I wish I could publish my next book through sponsorship to help save my life from cancer
Help me please poem......
So,
listen up,
let me tell you 'bout my story,
James Bevan's the name,
Cancer killing my game,
My ultimate aim.
From Shotley Gate,
Suffolk,
in the UK's frame.
Terminally ill,
single dad,
with three boys so grand,
Longest skin,
bone,
lung cancer survivor, still I stand.
Twenty-four years fightin',
stage four,
still on the grind,
Cannabis my savior when chemo nearly left me blind.
Bed bound most days,
but I force myself out,
Strugglin' on benefits,
borrowin' just to live without a doubt.
I write my pain,
my story,
in every single line,
"Fate is Inexorable,"
it's my book,
my grind.
Gave all the proceeds to charity,
my heart in the rhyme,
Now I need support,
someone to sponsor this next climb.
First book's out,
Amazon and Kindle's where you'll find,
My life with cancer,
how I've survived,
my cancer bind,
as well as my mind.
Poetry and lyrics,
to help those in the struggle,
Mental or physical,
breakin' through the bubble.
Didn't think it through,
should've saved for more,
Second,
third,
fourth books,
but now I'm poor.
Can't afford to publish,
can't buy my prescription,
Had to halve the dose,
now tumors in suspicion.
On November fifteenth,
found another tumor growin',
Need help to publish,
keep my lifes books flowin'.
A grasp of hope for others,
suffering like me,
Give 'em the chance,
a chance to be free.
I write my pain,
my story,
in every single line,
"Fate is Inexorable,"
it's my book,
my grind.
Gave all the proceeds to charity,
my heart in the rhyme,
Now I need support,
someone please,
to sponsor this next climb.
So if you got a heart,
and can help me stay alive,
Call or email,
help me thrive.
I'm James Bevan,
extremely hopeful,
reachin' out,
Together we can fight,
In that,
I've no doubt.
With your help,
we can see my cancer out of sight!
