i wished. too little too late

I wish I didn't have to. I wish he would have said all the things I wanted him to. I wish he would have reached over and held my hand, or scooped me up, shocked me with a random act of gratitude. Share a tear or two. Throw a dish, yell or scream. Anything is better then silence, in love and war. Everything all the time!
