If I could Wish

1. If I could have a wish that wish would be, I'd met my wife sooner Instead of the age of 43 so much more time with her I would have had
2. To have married Helen at sixteen such little pretty girl she had the wonderful sparkle of youth In those eyes, so petite but still a beautiful full figure
3. ​​​​​Instead, she married a guy she thought she loved, he had Helen's youth but did not appreciate her disrespected that really hurt her with his affairs
4. But I'm so grateful Helen and I finally met and married for If not I'd not have a son, but can't help wishing I could have had some of her youth
5. If only I'd  stepped In sooner to ask for her hand In marriage another 30 years or more we could have had but sadly that's only wishful thinking now.
