My wish to the kids

Here's to the kids who grew up in a broken home.
Here's to the kids who were abused physically by a parent or family member.
Here's to the kids who have been molested or sexually assaulted.
Here's to the kids who've been mentally scared by tragedies in the family or with friends.
Here's to the kids who have to take medicine to keep their sanity.
Here's to the kids who's parents are split apart.
Here's to the kids who have had tight leash's and no freedom.
Here's to the kids who thought they had it made but everything crumbles before their eyes.
Here's to the kids who have to watch younger siblings cry over a divorce.
Here's to the kids who's family didn't care about them because they're a little different than others.
Here's to the kids who watch their mother or father cry because they cant do anything to help.
Here's to the kids who grew up with alcohol in the household.
Here's to the kids who were left up crying while their parent was passed out intoxicated.
Here's to the kids who tried to make a difference only to be shattered.
Here's to the kids who sit back and watch their family self destruct because there's nothing they can do to change it.
Here's to the kids who don't know any better because they were never taught morals.
Here's to the kids who know they can make a difference in the world but are being held back.
Here's to the kids who had to grow up on their own.
Here's to the kids who are going to go far with their dreams and face their obstacles head on.
Here's to the kids who want nothing but happiness.
Here's to the kids who grew up in shabby homes and ate off the streets because the economy or family.
Here's to all the kids who have or had a hard life.
-Never let something stop you in your dreams, you could change the world.
Never give up in life because you think noone is there for you, there is always someone out there to help and give you what you need.
Never let your head fall because something is wrong, hold your head high and look towards the sky and ask the Lord to help.
Never let words get to you, noone can judge you for the is God's job.
If you are in need of help or know someone who is, don't be afraid to step up and take a stand. There are people in this world who want to help. Tell an adult, a teacher, a cop, a school councilor, or someone you trust. It could save your life or someone else's.

Greetings Brittney,
Here's to the kid in you, that had the courage to have (unfortunately) lived and (unfortunately) had to learn from and (for the greater good of all), wrote this, so extremely important and sheer powerful poem Heres to the Kid in you, that was forced to run the household, including the responsibilities, of her younger siblings,Heres to the forsaken kids, who were left so so so alone..Like you were.....Here's to you, for having the stamina, to strive through, opposition such as this and still be able, to find the kindness in yourself, to assist others from having to endure this themselves or what to do if they are facing this right now.....And as you said in your lines below, there are people out here, that thrives on assisting in the wake of adversities, are plain old crime, against our young ones, just as much as the admonishment towards teens or other women, who find themselves at risk....You have spoken loud and clear and i heard you quite well and hopefully, all that has and haven't faced, this form of abuse,torture/ (mentally, physically and emotionally), can assist with extending this young ladies voice, beyond this site and many more.....Can i place this on facebook as well, in care of the author???????????? We support you......You are a Strong young Lady!!!!!!!!!
Jim
Thank you very much! that touched my heart. and if you'd like, you can post it to facebook!
Brittney,
I thank you very much and will do, as such....It is nice to hear you say, that you still have what no one can ever take from you, that which is yours and more sacred, than any could imagine, until they themselves are subjected to this sick behavior, by any. (YOUR HEART) is a hard place to be locked in and forced to stay there until, (true help) arrives, to release you from the constant strain and madness, on your mind, body and soul.Yet, you contain and kindly still have the compassion, for others, that face (on a daily basis), this same unspeakable treatment, that you have so inspiringly given to us, your ability to speak on.......Thank you once again...
Very Inspiring (Poem) and very important Message to (ALL)..
Take Care,
Jim
