Rubber Necking
The past molds us into who we are today
Never assume you know someone from their past
Pain hurts the same as deep as long no matter where you've been
We take pieces with us andĀ leave pieces behind
We live and learn then learn to live
Our lessons prepare us for whats to come
Otherwise we would still be stuck there
Tomorrow is going to happen no matter what
Yesterday cannot be undone or redone
You can crawl, walk, jump, or run
I suggest you drive it like you stole it

The suggestion of the last line is easier for some than others.Ā Its hard to do anything like you stole it with a backpack full of the past getting heavier with every heartbeat.Ā I understand the sentiment though and admire those who drive that way.
