A BIRTHDAY VERSE TO 
POET & ARTIST RUMPA RAY GHOSH,
West Bengal, India
LIFE IS A POETIC MELODY
No gift I bring but awe, wellness, and cure,
Which all must bear to charming souls and pure,
Delights lights, that, when all else is dark, endure;
Stars in the night, to lift your half-opened eyes in desire.
And though my gift itself has little worth,
Yet it gains from me to you on your divine birth
As a little flower gets color from mirth,
Or rather, as when angels walk the earth,
All things they look on take the look of someone
For of those blessed angels thou art one.
Like eve, the first female of God’s own creation
You emerged from the beauty and bounty of aesthetic revision,
As nature is full of splendor, blessings, and bounty,  
The flowing rivers, the chirping birds, all beauty.
the dancing winds, the smiling flowers
and the lofty mountains are some of the colors  
All beautiful things we may enjoy. 
Let nature can fill our lives with real joy,
Harmony, compassion, deep passion,
Be positive to achieve with a noble vision,
Goodness, love, and pleasure.
Life is a poetic melody, it’s a treasure.
