He drugged drank fought stabbed robbed maybe killed for hobbies.
The man could have been pro at anything he wanted but chose to act as a victim rather than a survivor. 
The tragic loss of life is hard to deal with, people take such basic things for granted. 
I remember when his life changed, the shift of blame the mothers dismay at her own failures.
He was misunderstood and a genuine guy, he saw things going really really wrong.
