A wish to be different
Every girl wants to be skinny, they want to be loved. Have big boobs and have a guy like them. That shouldn't be a thing to be wished for. Girls want to be like barbie. They think it will solve their problem and make people like them. Me? I just wish to be different. Not have brown or blonde hair. To keep my blue hair. I want to stay the same exact person I am right now. The girl who; doesn't have a lot of money, the girl who; doesn't wear namebrands, or doesn't have a phone. That's who I am and I want to stay that way. I want to be myself and be one of the only girls who likes playing tackle football. I love being that girl. You don't need to change who you are for someone else to love you. I wish I could be I could be the same for ever and I wish people didn't think I was crazy for complimenting strangers to see them smile. I love the way I am. I just wish everyone else did too.

Lynnette you sound like a special young lady, content with just
who you are, is as normal as apple pie is to America and if others thought to be
themselves and no one else, we would have a whole lot of school kids satisfied
with being who they are and in their own skin, instead of benging and anorexia
issues that plague our youth in today’s' society. A happy face speaks a happy
heart and you are who you are and to compliment total strangers isn't crazy or weird
at all, I too would rather surround myself with happy people than I would those
that are constantly down or want to see others share their same unappealing, depressive
expression..........One of my motivations is to see people without worries and
smiles plastered to their faces as well........ Consider yourself
unique........It sounds more appealing and fits you well.....Don't ever allow
anyone to rain on your parade...

I agree with Jimmy lil sis, you shouldn't be afraid to be who you are and especially shouldn't be afraid to stay how you are right now. Consider it a life lesson to be just as you are and as young as you are for as long as you can. Teen years go fast, treasure them and you'll find your way. Love Ya Sis!

I truly understand. How difficult it is to be a bit of a nerd- and not live on phone or all these other devices. I still write the old-fashioned way- and then copy to the computer. I'm starting to grow my dreadlocks from scratch- not at any salon. I'm a bookworm. So yes, keep your blue hair. Keep complimenting the smiles of strangers. Fight hard not to conform. Someday all the robots will be jealous -LOL!
